Friday, March 1, 2024 was held at the headquarters of Confindustria Bari Barletta-Andria-Trani the event TOP 300 Puglia and Basilicata.
The initiative, organized by PwC ItalyIn partnership with the Republic, the Department of Economics, Management and Business Law ofUniversity of Bari 'Aldo Moro' e Confindustria Bari BAT, wanted to provide a current overview of the entrepreneurial realities of Puglia and Basilicata, with a prospective vision of economic trends and upcoming challenges.
During the meeting, the results of the research on top 300 companies in Puglia and Basilicata, including La Lucente SpA, and together with entrepreneurs, associations and institutions the following were discussed:
- le priority and challenges that local businesses are called upon to face;
- le analysis conducted on the regulatory framework of Single SEZ and tax benefits related, sharing the lessons learned on an international level and outlining the main ones advantages e limitations so far emerged on the topic;
- le strategy and investment plans aimed at promoting sustainable and digital growth of companies in the two regions.
As part of the round table “The CEO's priorities and the actions to be taken to transform and create value”, introduced by Corrado Aprico, Partner PwC Italia and moderated by Domenico Castellaneta, Editor-in-Chief of La Repubblica Bari, the results of the survey dedicated to CEOs and conducted by PwC Italia analysts were presented, which aimed to put the priorities of the CEO and the actions to be taken to transform and create value.
Angelo Volpe, CEO of La Lucente SpA brought his contribution, speaking as a speaker on the challenges faced by La Lucente from a sustainability perspective, with particular focus on HR issues. To the microphones of Repubblica Bari he spoke about the introduction of new organizational models such as smart working and the right to disconnect and how all the strategic choices of his mandate aimed at enhancing sustainable development of the company's business.
