Lucente SpA obtains the "Socially Responsible Enterprise" recognition from the Bari Chamber of Commerce, as part of the 2022 Historic Enterprises Call

La Lucente SpA has obtained the "Socially responsible company" recognition from the Bari Chamber of Commerce, as part of the tender issued by the Chamber of Commerce in relation to the 2022 Historic Business Award. The intent was to reward businesses that have long contributed to the economic development of the area, with a special mention for those that have demonstrated particular sensitivity in facing the challenges that new markets and constantly evolving scenarios pose to the business system, such as the circular economy, environmental protection and a vocation for CSR as a driver of sustainable business development.

There are 24 companies that have obtained recognition. “Behind them there are stories of dedication and family commitment which are the heritage of an entire community", said the president of the organization, Luciana di Bisceglie, during the ceremony during which the plaques were delivered.

Those who obtained them were companies that operate in different sectors (industry, commerce, services, crafts, agriculture, cooperatives, consortia and consortium companies) and have entrepreneurial longevity, according to the criteria contained in a specific tender announced in 2022 by the chamber of commerce Barese.

"Collecting this recognition represents an enormous satisfaction for me. I am proud to represent three generations, one family. Corporate social responsibility is a central driver for La Lucente and we will continue the work started on these issues with determination" – thus commented Angelo Volpe, CEO of the company, on the occasion of receiving the award, as part of the ceremony held on 13 December 2023 at the Salone San Nicola of the Bari Chamber of Commerce.
