On the occasion of the National Made in Italy Day, La Lucente took part in the institutional event "1000 Historic Brands for the Future of Made in Italy", promoted by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, in collaboration with the Italian Patent and Trademark Office and the Association of Historic Italian Trademarks.
The event, held at Palazzo Piacentini in Rome, marked a particularly significant moment in the celebration of the milestone of 1000 Historic Brands of National Interest registered in the Special Register, as well as an important opportunity to discuss the role these entities play in the country's economic, cultural, and territorial development.
The Special Register of Historic Trademarks of National Interest has reached the milestone of 1000 registered trademarks: an ecosystem of 780 registered companies, generating a total turnover of €93,6 billion and providing employment to 363.201 people.
This is what emerges from the report "Italy of 1000 Historic Brands of National Interest. Numbers, Territories, and Prospects for a Made in Italy Industrial Heritage," presented during the event, which was attended by Minister Adolfo Urso. The meeting opened with a video message from Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and also provided an opportunity to illustrate the new financial instrument introduced with the reform of the Business Safeguard Fund, a cornerstone of the new growth and consolidation strategy for companies holding Historic Brands of National Interest.
Throughout the morning, institutions and businesses shared reflections and perspectives on the future of Made in Italy, focusing on policies to enhance the country's industrial heritage, new growth opportunities, and tools to support historic businesses. Ample space was also dedicated to the relationship between tradition and innovation and the contribution of new generations to the continuity and renewal of business culture.
In this context, La Lucente stands out as one of the most centuries-old Italian companies: It has in fact officially been a Historic Brand since 2022, the year in which it celebrated its centenary. This recognition testifies to the solidity of the company's path and the value of a history built over time, founded on quality, reliability, and the ability to evolve.
Representing the company was President Pierluigi Mantini, who participated in the in-depth discussions and discussions with institutions and businesses, contributing to the dialogue on development strategies and the challenges facing Historic Brands in the current competitive environment.
