La Lucente considers sustainability a strategic value and a guiding principle in its business decisions. With this in mind, starting in 2023, the company launched a structured energy efficiency program, aiming to reduce the environmental impact of its operations and promote an increasingly responsible use of resources.
The project included a refinement of Scope 1 and 2 data, supported by timely analyses and targeted interventions on the fleet, facilities, and energy supply. The main actions undertaken included:
- updating the company fleet with electric and hybrid vehicles;
- the construction of a photovoltaic system at the Headquarters;
- the installation of charging stations;
- the adoption of high-efficiency air conditioning and lighting systems.
The results obtained are concrete and measurable, as demonstrated by the significant reduction in energy consumption over time:
- 2023: 139.023 kWh
- 2024: 88.960 kWh (–36% compared to 2023)
- 2025: 43.957 kWh (–68% compared to 2023)
This trend confirms the effectiveness of the actions undertaken and the tangible contribution to reducing emissions and improving the company's environmental performance.
The energy efficiency project is part of a broader commitment undertaken by La Lucente, aimed at continuously improving its performance in terms of sustainability, innovation, and social responsibility. This commitment is also reflected in the achievement of significant certifications, ratings, and awards, including:
- ISO 14067: 2019, for calculating the carbon footprint;
- ISO 50001: 2018, for the energy management system;
- EMAS certification, which attests to the constant monitoring of environmental performance and transparency towards stakeholders and the public;
- Synesgy CRIBIS Rating – level A, indicative of a high level of suitability for ESG principles;
- EcoVadis Gold Rating, which places the company in the top 5% of the most virtuous companies globally in terms of sustainability and social responsibility;

These are accompanied by important national and European awards, including the Sustainability Award, which for the fourth consecutive year has included La Lucente among the Top 100 Italian sustainable excellences, Felix ESG Industry Award and, at European level, the Best Facilities Management Company – Italy and the ESG Excellence Award, awarded within the European Enterprise Awards 2025.
In this context, La Lucente positions itself as a reliable partner for clients who share the same focus on sustainability issues throughout the entire supply chain, promoting responsible, transparent practices geared towards continuous improvement.
In confirmation of this path, the company has published for the fourth consecutive year the Sustainability Report, certified by PricewaterhouseCoopers, with the aim of ensuring increasingly complete, transparent and reliable reporting of environmental, social and governance performance.
